The Canadian School Meal and School Nutrition Program Handbook has been created to support school meal coordinators, school administrators, caterers, and others who are involved in providing healthy food and beverages at school to vulnerable students. The Handbook includes general operational information and resources relating to School Meal and School Nutrition Programs, guidelines for serving healthy foods, sample menus, healthy substitutions and promising practices for feeding vulnerable students.
