As part of the Social Accountability Project (SAP), the GSFP is organizing an orientation and capacity building workshop for Farmer Based Organizations (FBOs) and the Media on the GSFP policies and objectives including the SAP and the role of these two groups as partners in the implementation of the GSFP. All the ten regions of Ghana will be covered. The approach will be to assemble Farmers, Caterers and Agriculture Directors from the districts on one platform and assembling media personnel from various districts in each region on a separate platform for impact
The objectives the workshop
- To sensitize FBOs on the programme Policy and objectives
- To provide an opportunity to discuss role of FBOs in the GSFP
- To provide a platform for FBOs to interact with Service Providers of the Programme
- To strategize, foster new directions and energies for better impact in the effort to achieve the objectives of the programme
