HGSF provides an innovative model in addressing food insecurity, agricultural development and educational attainment simultaneously. These however cannot be achieved without vested interest from agriculture, health and education. The Osun Elementary School feeding and Health Programme (O’MEALS) serves as a platform for collaboration among these three ministries through the school feeding program. The activities and indicators of achievement of these ministries have served as milestones in monitoring the progress of the programme.

The O’MEALS programme maintains a database on school feeding activities in all the public primary schools in the 31 LGAs in the state.
