AgroLAC 2025 Inaugural Partner & Project Conference, March 10 - 11

The AgroLAC 2025 platform’s steering committee and collaborative partners will gather to work on project development and for business networking.

The AgroLAC 2025 initiative was created to facilitate on-the-ground action towards the recommendations of the report, “The Next Global Breadbasket: How Latin America Can Feed the World.”  Breakout sessions at this event will seek to profile exciting and innovative opportunities from Collaborating Partners that reflect those recommendations, and identify potential partners for developing innovative solutions that AgroLAC 2025 can support.  The objective in each session is to identify pilot project opportunities that may be eligible for implementation support under the AgroLAC framework, in the categories of Agro/Environmental PlanningIncreased Productivity through Sustainable Intensification, and Trade and Access to Markets.

Healthy Food for a Healthy World: Leveraging Agriculture and Food to Improve Global Nutrition Global Food Security Symposium 2015

Convened annually by The Chicago Council, the Global Food Security Symposium discusses the US Government's and international community’s progress on addressing global food and nutrition security.

The Global Food Security Symposium 2015 will address food systems for improved health. The Symposium will also be the platform for the release of a new Chicago Council study recommending ways the United States can leverage its research institutions, deploy development and trade tools, and engage with business to improve health and nutrition globally.
